The Teradyne Field Application Group is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will, collaboratively with the team, work on the device test program and hardware development support for customers, and provide the product training and the test consultant.  We are the test expert organization who has the highest test skills in semiconductor industry on both software (programming) and hardware to supports the customers that produces the semiconductor devices used in almost all electronics (smartphone, automotive, AI, consumer electronics).   The Teradyne will best fit for those who pursue the customer’s business success by providing the best customer support and wants to support the state of the art devices before it is released to the public.

Responsibility

• Development of test program and device interface board (DIB) to meet customer requirement by using Teradyne ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platforms
• Provide programming training to the customers
• Resolve customer issues by collaborating with engineering group as well as service group
• Communication among groups and within group to execute the project effectively
• Travel to customer site (onsite support) and overseas Teradyne office (for training) that requires multiple stay overs

• テラダイン社製半導体自動試験装置（ATE）テストシステムを使い、お客様からの要求仕様に基づいて半導体テストのためのテストプログラム及びデバイスインターフェースボードのアプリケーション開発を行う。
• お客様向けのプログラミングトレーニングの講師を担当する。
• エンジニアリング部門及びサービス部門と協力してお客様の問題を解決する。
• プロジェクトを円滑に進めるための部署内、及び部署間のコミュニケーション
• 宿泊を伴う出張は必須。

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Native level Japanese that enables the business communication with the customers
• English communication skills that enables the internal communication with overseas engineers, or have a willingness to reach such a level in near future after joinning
• Demonstrate independent power of think
• Demonstrate problem solving skills through the communication with the team
• Demonstrate relationship-building and teamwork skills
• Have a willingness to get basic knowledge of semiconductor device (Microcontroller, processor, image sensor, SOC, RF and Power) and semiconductor process
• Have a willingness to get basic knowledge on the electrical circuit
• Have a willingness to get knowledge of program skill on the programming languages such as Visual Basic, C++, C#, etc
• Driving license

• ソフトウェア言語：Visual Basic、C++、C#などのプログラミングスキルを獲得する意欲があること
• 普通自動車免許

Education

• Associate degree, Bachelor or higher degree in electronic/computer engineering or related fields
• The school credit of semiconductor related class is preferred.

• 必須：準学士、学士号または修士号（電気またはコンピュータ工学/科学）
• 半導体関連の単位取得があることが望ましい
