Opportunity Overview

As an early-career Field Application Engineer, you will develop your technical expertise in a hands-on, customer-focused role supporting advanced semiconductor test solutions. Based in Yokohama, Japan, you will work closely with customers, R&D, and global engineering teams to help develop, evaluate, and validate tester functionality while building strong foundations in test methodology, debugging, and technical communication.

• Collaborate with NAND memory test solution development engineering teams to evaluate and validate tester functionality and key features.
• Support NAND memory customers by assisting with test solution proposals, system bring-up, and debugging activities.
• Assist in developing and delivering training for customers on test program development and effective usage.
• Build strong technical communication skills through teamwork and customer interactions.
• Grow toward increased technical ownership and responsibility through mentorship and hands-on learning.

フィールドアプリケーションエンジニア（Field Applications Engineer）

本ポジションでは、Field Application Engineerとして、最先端の半導体テストソリューションを支える実践的かつ顧客対応中心の業務に携わりながら、技術的な専門性を高めていただきます。

横浜本社を拠点に、お客様、研究開発（R&D）チーム、およびグローバルなエンジニアリングチームと密接に連携しながら、テスター（試験装置）の機能開発・評価・検証を支援します。また、テスト手法、デバッグ、技術コミュニケーションに関する基礎を身につけていただきます。

主な業務内容

• NANDメモリ向けテストソリューション開発エンジニアリングチームと協力し、テスター機能や主要機能の評価・検証を行う
• NANDメモリ顧客向けに、テストソリューション提案、システム立ち上げ（Bring-up）、デバッグ業務を支援する
• テストプログラム開発や効率的な活用方法に関する顧客向けトレーニングの開発および実施を支援する
• チームワークや顧客対応を通じて、高い技術コミュニケーション能力を習得する
• メンターによる指導や実務経験を通じて、技術的な責任範囲を徐々に拡大していく

•               Bachelor’s degree or higher is required; an engineering major is strongly preferred.

•               Early-career engineer; internships, lab work, or academic projects are valued.

•               Coursework or project experience in electronics, digital systems, or semiconductor fundamentals.

•               Ability to learn complex systems and apply concepts in hands-on environments.

•               Knowledge of C++ programming

•               Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and the ability to read and interpret circuit schematics.

•               Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to continuously learn.

•               Collaboration mindset and openness to feedback and mentorship.

•               Interest in NAND memory, semiconductor testing, or manufacturing applications.

• 学士号以上を取得していること（工学系専攻を強く推奨）
• キャリア初期のエンジニア
• 電子工学、デジタルシステム、半導体基礎に関する履修またはプロジェクト経験
• 複雑なシステムを学習し、実際の環境で知識を応用できる能力
• C++プログラミングに関する知識および実務経験を有すること
• 電子回路に関する基礎知識を有し、回路図を読解できること
• 好奇心を持ち、自ら行動し、継続的に学ぶ意欲
• チームワークを重視し、フィードバックや指導を前向きに受け入れられる姿勢
• NANDメモリ、半導体テスト、または製造アプリケーション分野への関心
