Regional Master Trainer

The role:

Universal Robots is seeking a Regional Master Trainer for its Ann Arbor location. In this role, you’ll work for the US headquarters of Universal Robots, a rapidly growing robot manufacturer based in Denmark. And let’s face it, what’s cooler than robots and automation?

 

We are leading the collaborative robot (“cobot”) space, having captured 60% market share in less than ten years. We’re not like the traditional robot companies, which is a good thing. We think differently, work differently, and grow differently. Now we need a talented and motivated individual to join our award-winning team!  The Regional Master Trainer will be based in the greater Ann Arbor region and work closely with our other Regional Master Trainer who is based in California. Together you will be part of an exceptional global team responsible for training and teaching our partners, distributors, and end users how to make our robots maximize their efficiency. 

 

Our growth strategy includes a strong focus on services going forward, and the Regional Master Trainer plays a significant role. Both in-person training and the online UR Academy enable users to quickly and easily program our cobots – and start seeing immediate benefits of automation.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Provide certification training to Trainers in the region
  • Deliver on-going training for certified trainers
  • Partner with sales development managers to expand training by enrolling channel and distribution partners
  • Design and develop training materials
  • Deliver training to end users
  • Ensure your certified trainers deliver world class training
  • Ensure high volume of world class trainings across US
  • Ensure consistent delivery of training content
  • Design and develop world-class training materials
  • Ensure focus on training as a true Service offering that creates value for customers

 

Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related subject.
  •  Knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, and/or specialty training
  • Experience conducting technical seminars and technical training. Exceptional communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in robotics or automation industry.
  • Documented practical experience within automation and/or robot programming.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to transfer knowledge. Must have a good understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within them
  • Ability to effect change and communicate successfully within different organizational levels
  • This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated or subject to weekly testing for onsite access.
