Our new Business Development Manager is expected to grow revenue and market share in close collaboration with our Sales Director for Iberia. The position is located in our Headquarters in Barcelona and reports to the Country manager for Iberia.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up new opportunities and business request in Spain from our customers and partners.
  • Manage our actual System Integrators channel partner networks and develops new growing actions with Certified System integrators.
  • Seeking new business opportunities through relationship with local key stake holders (industrial clusters, technological centers, public entities)
  • Develop and enhance business with new System Integrators and OEMs in Iberia through product presentations, follow up on opportunities and projects and providing highly qualified technical product knowledge and advice.
  • Participation in seminars, trade shows and other promotional events.

 

Qualifications:

Strong technical background with sales experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of technical and sales experience in automation, preferably in control and/or robotics and experience handling a multi-channel business model.
  • Experience with sales of complex technical solutions
  • Technical mind-set with a genuine interest in for technology and automation
  • Strong communication skills at all levels and customer oriented
  • Ability to travel 50% of your time around Spain.
