Opportunity Overview
Teradyne Robotics is looking for a Business Analyst to facilitate sales processes, analyze business performance, and support members of our Partner Program.
This is a subject matter expert role that will be responsible for owning the sales processes and sales tools for the Teradyne Robotics Division (UR & MiR Business Units). Responsibilities include implementation, ongoing execution and driving continuous improvements in the areas of sales tools & processes.
Execution:
- Salesforce.com (SFDC) Tool:
- Own salesforce.com (SFDC) as a tool and the underlying process such as Lead Management, Visit Reporting, Contact Management, Opportunity Tracking, Request for Quote (RFQ) Methodology, etc.
- Drive ‘Data Cleanliness & Accuracy’
- Support reporting processes, dashboards & data analysis within SFDC – Pipeline, Forecast, Visits, Sales Management Reporting, etc
- Drive new implementations pertaining to SFDC currently in progress or in future.
- Foster effective usage of the tool by learning about other features and bringing them to rest of the sales team. Ex. Account Planning, Capture Team, Team Sell, Territory Planning, Segmentation, etc
- Hold recurring trainings and equip users with knowledge to effectively use the system
- Support the Head of Global Commercial Operations in developing a cadence around SFDC tasks and reporting needs and its consistent adherence for execution.
- PowerBI:
- Support the rollout and ongoing execution of PowerBI tool for sales data visualization
- Special Projects/Assignments:
- Take on, contribute and support special projects as needed/assigned. Ex – Monthly Management reporting, Sales Transformation Cross-Functional projects, etc
Customer Focus:
- Customer Focus & Quality – Steadfast focus on customer and delivering high quality results all centered around customer
- Speed to win – Support the field sales team to be responsive to customers by timely responding to their queries & requests
- Through delivery of scalable solutions, contribute to making our sales team world-class
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to improving ‘Innovation & Speed’ quotient within areas of responsibility
- Lead the efforts to simplify processes and drive efficiencies within areas of responsibility
- Lead and deliver tangible results to achieve ‘Ease of Doing Business’ goal
- Own and document all processes within the scope of ‘Sales Tools’
Engagement & Development:
- Contribute to the team to be the best in class in terms of ‘Ownership & Performance’
- Foster the culture of ‘Collaboration & Trust’ within and outside of team
- Keep abreast of latest trends in the field of sales tools & processes and bring that knowledge outside in to drive efficiencies

- BS/BA degree in Business Management, Information Technology or Information Systems
- Minimum 5+ years’ work experience in a diverse global organization within areas of sales processes, project management, information systems or CRM (salesforce.com) & ERP business processes
- Proven project management experience that can drive change, educate internal customers, and manage process & tool implementations
- Expert salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite user
- Strong systems thinker
- Proven abilities in driving process improvements.
Nice to Have:
- Excellent 360° communication and facilitation skills with a track record of effectively communicating with internal & external stakeholders
- Solid analytical, statistical, strategic, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking, planning ability
- Microsoft SharePoint knowledge
- Project Management certification desired
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge
- Experience with training users with sales tools & processes
