Innovation Product Marketing Manager

Universal Robots is the market leader in the collaborative robotic space today and we are just getting started. We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who is obsessed with figuring out the best way to position and promote innovative technologies to customers. The marketer will be dedicated to the UR LABS division, where we develop and establish product-market fit for new innovations and will assist with marketing of other emerging business areas.

 

A successful incumbent of this role will be an expert on eliciting measurable responses from customers with both digital and physical assets. They will be obsessed with constantly improving their craft, devoting a significant portion of their time to reading/researching/experimenting with new methods of marketing communication. They are not just a consultant; they are a doer. They have experience building their own marketing assets and have a wide variety of skills in both graphic and video editing.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Assist UR LABS incubator teams in measuring customer interest and effective messaging through the creation and testing of unique marketing assets.
  • Craft customer communications such as surveys, emails, telemarketing scripts and landing pages with high level of comprehension and attention to critical product-market fit assumptions.
  • Research or devise new marketing tools and methods for testing in UR LABS.
  • Spearhead “Experimental Marketing” at Universal Robots, taking the learnings from UR LABS activities and sharing them with the UR Marketing community.

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Passion for marketing and an insatiable curiosity for new technologies and understanding why people buy them.
  • 5+ years in a role in digital marketing or related field.
  • BA degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication, or similar relevant field.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated aptitude in English grammar.
  • Some graphic and video editing competence, enabling incumbent to create social media posts, landing pages, and brief explainer videos.
  • Familiarity with The Lean Startup product development process is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and able to connect dots and effectively with only intermittent coaching.
  • A proactive and detailed planner with excellent organizational skills to execute every detail successfully
  • Combine innovation with operational rigor to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and able to maintain a proactive posture in the face of rapid organizational change and shifting priorities
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
  • Team player with great interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 1 week per month between Europe and the United States.

This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested regularly in order to work in the office.
