Universal Robots is now looking for a new colleague to join us to continue the steep growth rate in Universal Robots.

 

We sell our products through distributors and certified solutions partners, so you will work in close collaboration with these. Your responsibility is to ensure revenue growth in your territory, which you do through engaging with potential customers. Our primary customers are small and medium sized production companies of all kinds.

 

This new role is Thailand based and reports directly to the Regional Manager in SEAO. As Channel Development Manager you are responsible for increasing the efficiency and productivity in the channel.

 

Primary tasks in your role will be:

 

  • New business development as well as managing the existing partner network in the territory to increase revenue and grow the business to meet our ambitious growth targets.
  • Travel to meet clients, support our partners, carry out demonstrations and attend trade shows; the latter in close cooperation with our marketing department.

Most important is your drive and personality. If you have the will, energy and passion – together we will secure the success. You need to have some business development experience. You are strong both in working autonomously and in a team. You plan your own time and efforts with support and assistance from the team in the region. You are used to reporting on progress using a CRM tool and providing accurate forecasting.

 

Further, we would expect you to have:

 

  • A strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to the end users
  • Experience with structured channel development plans, budgets, pipeline management etc.
  • Advanced business acumen as well as the ability to present the concept of flexible automation to clients, prospects, and education centers.
  • Experience in industrial automation, solution/project involving technical products would be an advantage. Full technical training will be provided, and the role is supported by a technical support engineer based in Thailand and SEAO.
