We are looking for a talented and experienced Education Channel Development Manager to develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with key educational accounts. This is a high visibility role which involves up to 50% travel and offers an exciting opportunity to drive the adoption of our cobots in educational institutions. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for UR educational accounts’ sales goals/quotas in assigned territory
- Hunt for new sales opportunities among educational accounts and once qualified/validated introduce them to the local UR distributor
- Drive KPIs and action plans to achieve the annual target. Develop countermeasures to get back to budget if behind.
- Manage opportunity funnel, forecasting and action plans focusing on educational accounts
- Canvas, initiate, qualify sales leads and follow through to ensure a solid sales funnel with distributors
- Participate in joint visits with educational distributor’s sales reps to end-users
- Represent company at tradeshows and other professional activities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace
- Meet and exceed sales targets for educational accounts in North America and Canada.
- Successfully onboard new educational channel partners
- Monitor and drive the performance of channel partners to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key educational accounts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through channel partners, and events in salesforce.
- Participate in joint marketing initiatives and campaigns with channel partners to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports based on channel partner activities and market trends.
- Conduct regular Quartey Business Reviews (QBR) with channel partners to assess performance, address challenges, and plan future activities.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and quotas for educational accounts in North America and Canada.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or industry related subject
- 5+ years’ experience in education sales preferable within robotics
- Understanding of the US educational sector, including knowledge of curriculum requirements and funding mechanisms for educational institutions
- Channel management experience
- Minimum of three years of experience of managing distribution partners
- Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with educational institutions and distributors.
- Ability to identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities within the educational market.
- knowledge and prior experience working with the US educational system: curriculum, purchasing etc.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitive products, and sales data to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in using sales forecasting and Salesforce.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with channel partners and educational institutions.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal teams, distributors, and channel partners to achieve common goals.
- Proven ability in sales and business development, particularly within the educational sector.
- Must be capable of overnight travel up to 50% of time; or as required
