Universal Robots is seeking an experienced Director of Product and Industry Marketing to lead and shape the Product Marketing function. This high-impact role will focus on developing and executing comprehensive product and industry marketing strategies and go-to-market (GTM) programs to support the company's growth and product launches. The Director of Product and Industry Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Sales to drive strategic messaging and ensure alignment with the company’s overarching goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development & Messaging Framework:
    • Create and refine product and industry marketing strategies and messaging frameworks that align with company and product strategies, brand positioning, and market insights.
    • Develop compelling marketing themes and messages that resonate with target audiences, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

  2. Product and Industry Marketing & Go-to-Market Planning:
    • Lead the planning and execution of product and industry marketing and GTM roadmaps, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and broader marketing initiatives.
    • Oversee the development and launch of marketing content, including product messaging for hardware, software, cloud solutions, and ecosystem launches.

  3. Go-to-Market Program Execution:
    • Drive the successful execution of GTM programs for new product launches, ensuring maximum market impact and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable results for all GTM activities.

  4. Leadership & Team Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketers and GTM program managers, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
    • Build and maintain a team environment that promotes growth, learning, and development of talent.

  5. Market Analysis & Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform product marketing strategies.
    • Leverage data and analytics to measure the performance of marketing initiatives, making recommendations for optimization and growth.


About you:
We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in product marketing or related marketing roles, ideally gained within the technology, robotics, automation, or cloud solutions industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of inspiring and leading teams, fostering talent, and driving high performance. You possess a strategic mindset that enables you to align product marketing initiatives seamlessly with broader business goals and emerging market opportunities.

Analytical skills are essential, as you will be focused on data-driven decision-making, measuring results, and continuously refining processes for improvement. A global perspective is important for this role, as you will be working across diverse regions and managing stakeholders worldwide. Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to our headquarters in Odense, Denmark, as well as to engage with customers and commercial teams around the globe, are key.

Experience in robotics, automation, or technology sectors is highly desirable. Additionally, a strong background in leading successful product launches—spanning hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions—would be an asset.

Location:
The role is preferably based in Europe, with frequent travel to the company headquarters in Odense, Denmark, and various international locations.
