Group Finance Controller

We are looking for a proactive, curious and self-driven Group Finance Controller, who thrives in working with finance, consolidation and be a key player in the field of financial reporting.

You will be based in our HQ in Odense, Denmark, and will report to the Head of Finance Reporting.

In this position you can look forward to an exciting and challenging job driving our group reporting. You will join a team of controllers who work closely together with the finance team and be part of an open and informal office environment, where no two days are alike, and there is room for both different personalities, and humor.
 

Some of your core responsibilities will be:
 

• Take part in the month end closing procedures
• Consolidation of the group and take responsibility for reporting
• Actively participate in and contribute to finance optimizations
• Be part of the continuous flow of reporting to stakeholders through an established process in the team
• Working with cashflow
• Participate in finance related projects
   

To be successful in this position we imagine you will come with:
 

• +5 years of relevant experience from accounting or auditing
• Experience of the disciplines within controlling and financial reporting
• An appreciation of chasing synergies, and through these optimizing current processes.
• High skills in Excel, and it would be an extra advantage if you are familiar with AX2012
• You speak and write English as well as Danish
• Self-driven employee, able to create forward motion and be proactive on tasks and own development
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Danish and US finance regulations and compliance standards will be an advantage
• As English is our cooperate language, you are expected to fluent in both written and spoken English
