You will be supporting the companies in Teradyne Robotics worldwide.
 

As an Infrastructure Specialist at UR, you will be responsible for enhancing and managing as well maintaining our existing IT Infrastructure.
 

To give you an overview of how this affects your role and responsibilities you can look forward to working with:
 

• Enhance, implement and maintain existing IT Infrastructure of the company, including networks, servers and storage systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components with existing systems and software
• Monitor the performance and capacity of IT systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations, both On-prem and in Cloud
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures
• Ensure the reliability, security, and disaster recovery capabilities of IT systems through regular testing, backup, and failover processes
• Be the escalation point for the IT Support team
• Communicate with our Network users as needed on trouble tickets
• Co-ordination with Service Providers to resolve service delivery issues and deploying new services
   

Most importantly, you come with a broad knowledge within IT infrastructure specialization. As a person, you are quality-conscious and knowledge-hungry. You thrive on solving your work tasks independently with occasional inputs from your competent colleagues.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
 

To be successful in this position we imagine you will come with:

• A curiosity for automation and scripting in PowerShell and Python
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure specialization, administration or similar role
• Good knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., 802.1x, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, routing and switching)
• Experience with server and storage systems (e.g., Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge of Azure Active Directory and on premises Active Directory
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues in a globally distributed environemnt
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders globally
• A team player attitude with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills that takes responsibility
• Knowledge of administering and supporting Network Access Control
• Good knowledge of Campus Wireless technologies
• Working experience with Network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark
• Must have CCNA certification, CCNP preferred. Other Networking certification in HPE/Aruba, Network security and Cloud Networking
