Our development and growth are driven by the innovations of our developers, and in the role as Digital Twin Intern, you will be given the opportunity to developed and contribute to our future Digital Twin Development efforts.
Design for the future
As a Digital Twin Intern, at Universal Robots, you will be part of a small team of specialist. Your passion to lean and further develop our simulation and virtual development capabilities will spread across the company and hopefully raise your own interest and competencies in the field of multiphysics simulation.
We will tailor your assignments based on your level and background, and there will be plenty of support and guidance throughout the entire internship period.
Some examples of assignments
- Support our Digital Twin development by creating multiphysics system simulation in ANSYS, Python, MATLAB, Simulink
- Perform prove of concept investigation on new methods and technologies
- Creating workflows, best practices, and tools
- Create, plan and specifying validation test related to simulation and Digital Twins
- Pre-processing, CAD Clean up using Solidworks
Who are we looking for?
Our passionate R&D colleagues exercise a high level of competence, and you must too in your day-to-day tasks. You demonstrate a deep orientation to detail and structure in your workflow. You are passioned about Digital Twins and Multiphysics system simulation. You are technology driven with a strong focus on the team’s goals. You thrive in a constant changing environment.
To succeed, we imagine you are
- A student (B.Sc. M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.
- Familiar or interested in:
- Concepts of Digital Twins and Digital Prototypes.
- Physics, mechanics, dynamics, electronics, heat and mass transfer, fluid simulation and control theory.
- Multiphysics system simulation, FEA – static, multibody dynamics.
- ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Twin Builder and have knowledge / experience with design optimization.
- Programming (E.g. Python, APDL, MATLAB, ACT).
- Experimental validation test.
- Predictive maintenance theory, methodologies, and application.
- Computer Aided design using Solidworks
As English is our corporate language, fluency is a must. Danish is a plus, but not required.
