Embedded Software Engineer

Would you like to be part of an industrial revolution where people work with robots, not like robots?

In this role you will join a group of highly skilled engineers writing embedded software for the backbone of our collaborative robots. At Universal Robots we push technology to its limits through bright minds and collaboration across domains. We need your help to continue the ongoing revolution!

What can we offer you?

At Universal Robots we want to be loved by our customers and our employees. We believe in motivation through empowerment and responsibility, meaning that you will be asked to solve customer problems rather than deliver pre-determined features. We have an abundance of technical challenges ready for you! Spanning motor control, safety, communication, and diagnostics – all happening on our microcontrollers.

We innovate by setting our creative minds free through multiple hackathons a year. Giving our employees the chance to hack on anything they want, and with whom they want.

Furthermore, we offer:

•                     Support for personal development – we want you to grow with us!

•                     Flexible working hours with the possibility to work from home/remote

•                     Lunch arrangement in the possibly best canteen that exists

•                     Health insurance, office located next to the highway and much more

To be successful in this role, you should be:

•                     Experienced in c for embedded systems

•                     Experienced in microcontroller programming

•                     Able to handle a complex system with dependencies

•                     Knowledgeable of revision control systems (like GIT)

In addition, it is a plus if you have experience with:

•                     Motor control

•                     Python

•                     Functional safety or safety-related software

•                     Real time systems

•                     Continuous integration

Personally, you are a fast learner and have an analytical approach to your work. You understand that teamwork and collaboration are key elements to succeed in a large organization. You thrive in an ever-changing work environment and enjoy solving complex tasks.

We have positions at various levels, so we encourage you to apply regardless of seniority.

Lastly, we would like that you live close enough to come to our HQ in Odense physically when needed.

Join us!
