As an IT Project Manager you will be part of a high-performance IT team managing end-to-end IT projects and systems, from shaping the idea and approach to delivery of the desired outcomes. You will be managing projects across the entire Industrial Automation Group within Teradyne covering Universal Robots, MiR and AutoGuide and you will be referring into a matrix organisation with a CoE in Teradyne IT in the US, with the daily manager in Denmark. Supporting the growth of the business requires establishing new and cutting-edge digital solutions in the business, ranging from small simple projects to large complex global projects. In this role you will get to work in a young organization, with multicultural international teams, in a very fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

To give you an overview of how this affects your role and responsibilities you can look forward to working with:


  • Responsible for the delivery of various IT projects from concept through final implementation.
  • Supporting the business in building the needed business understanding and structure to enable a successful project execution
  • Establish and ensure appropriate stakeholder management and governance functions for the project in accordance with enterprise policies and best practices
  • Lead reviews and regular interactions with the executive sponsor to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the project outcome.
  • Review project proposals and plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements.

You will be working closely with end users, business specialists and others to understand business goals and information needs, facilitate the specification of system and design requirements; manage development; and secure a successful implementation and user adoption.


You will be based in Odense, Denmark and will report to Martin Nordentoft, IAG IT Director.

We require that you have experience in working with: 


  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT Project Management. 
  • Experience leading complex projects in an international organization
  • Strong understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.  
  • A customer centric mindset with the ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Process mindset with the ability to facilitate process mapping and documentation
  • Strong analysis, design and implementation experience with technologies and a solid understanding of software development process
  • Experience with different project/program management methodologies (such as Agile and Waterfall) across a range of project types.
  • Knowledge of project planning tools, such as Microsoft Project or equivalent, with evidence of practical application.

Personal and academic qualifications

We imagine that you have academic qualifications within Project Management and preferably you hold:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent within computer science, IT, engineering, economics, or related disciplines.


As English is our corporate language, you are expected to be fluent in both written and spoken English.
