A new position in an exciting workplace

We seek a new experienced colleague to our R&D department in Odense, Denmark, to a newly created position as Product Cyber Security Technical Lead. 

You will become the professional anchor point taking up the responsibility of cyber security in our products.

Shape and implement our product cyber security strategy

At Universal Robots we take cyber security seriously. Our products must operate safely and reliably without posing any security risks to our customers’ enterprise IT infrastructures. We aim to challenge the best and we aspire to make products from Universal Robots synonymous with great cyber security capabilities in the segment in which we operate. We see this as an opportunity, and you will be responsible for our product cyber security strategy and setting up a cyber security program to ensure implementation of the strategy in our product portfolio.  

You will be working closely with the R&D development teams, product management and other stakeholders to address cyber security in the entire product life cycle from design through implementation to deployment, commissioning, and decommissioning at the customer facilities worldwide.


Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
•    Maintaining and implementing the product cyber security strategy
•    Setting up a cyber security program within the R&D organization
•    Support evolving our development processes to include cyber security considerations
•    Promoting good development practices such as security design reviews, and helping the development teams continuously improve
•    Participating in security design reviews
•    Support to product management with product security information for customers such as penetration test reports
•    Continuous monitoring and assessing the cyber security in our products 
•    Review, prioritize and escalate security issues if needed 
•    Participate in product cyber security discussions and initiatives with the other companies within the Teradyne Industrial Automation Group


Professional competencies

The ideal candidate holds a M.Sc. in Computer Sciences or similar, has a passion for cyber security and proven experience with cyber security in relation to product development.


Professional qualifications within one or more of the following areas:

•    Basic concepts, standards and frameworks within Cyber Security
•    Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001 or similar cyber security standards
•    Networking security, firewalls, Cloud security, Linux hardening and patching, and authentication
•    Security risk assessments and mitigations
