Passion, perfection, and predictability

As a Project Manager you have extensive understanding of Hybrid- and agile development processes and your main responsibility will be to ensure progress, predictability, visibility, effectivity, quality, and compliance with focus on the end-product. You work closely with a core team from all part of the organization and through this close collaboration you ensure the success of the project.

You will become part of our Project Management Office (UR PMO) team and report to our Head of PMO.

Key partners will be HR, Finance, Global IT, Operation, Marketing, Sales, Service, R&D and affiliations within the Teradyne – Industrial Automation business area, e.g., MiR and Energid, but also external subcontractors and test certification companies.


Your primary tasks include:

•    Through leadership and involvement ensure usage of the UR Governance model and thereto attached tools and processes.
•    Owning the project and empower the project team to act and ensure delivery.
•    Drive different types of cross functional project within both business processes, change management, system development and implementation, analyzes, capacity extension etc. 
•    Build and monitor project plans, risks, balancing multiple dependencies, critical path, resources, gates, and milestones.
•    Optimize project value through analyzing and balancing risk, cost, scope and timeline and understand the impact on the project.
•    Tight collaboration with the project steering committees  
•    Clearly communicate project status, decision requests and risks/issues to Senior Management as well as advice and influence decision making by communicating options and recommending actions


What does it take to become our new colleague?

We are looking for a candidate with a proven strong program/project management experience, preferably within large business or operation projects. You are technology savvy and passionate about both business, operation and IT development, quality and different Project/Program management methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Rolling-wave, Lean Startup, Agile and SAFe methods.
Your professional integrity, courage and passion guarantees strong and professional project management, allowing Senior Management to have confidence in the execution, the progress and the results.

Required skills:

•    Have several years of experience and a proven track record from a similar role within program- or project management with a high level of complexity, working with different business areas and demands. 
•    Hold a relevant degree, e.g., in economics, business management or engineering
•    Speak and write English fluently
•    Have a project management certification within SCRUM, PMI, SAFe, Lean Six sigma or similar.
•    Be an experienced user of Excel, Word, and Power BI – experience with Microsoft Project Web, Microsoft Teams, and the PMI project model is a plus.
