As a manager, you will develop a positive and open mindset in your teams focusing on collaboration and team spirit, not only within the team, but also across the whole company. You must create an environment where trust between people and product development areas are expected as a core value. Empowered teams with product focus

Your people work in cross-functional product teams, which are empowered with full authority and responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining the product and making sure it adheres to the UR business strategy and goals. Your responsibility is to enable this by establishing the right environment with the right structure, processes, and behavior.


Work areas and tasks


These are some of the tasks we expect will fill up your calendar:

  • Motivating and managing your staff and ensuring that they have all the needed information and tools to excel.
  • Development our Software Strategy together with the Software Management Team.
  • Creating the best work environment with your team.
  • Optimize and design the Software organization to meet the requirements from the rest of our organization and the customers.
  • Continuously improve performance in a sustainable way in respect to our values, strategy and employees.
  • Ensuring development and support of your people through one-to-one conversations and related activities.
  • Working cross-functionally with other managers to support development activities.


Leadership skills expected


To be successful in this role, we expect the following:

  • Leadership experience from a similar position within people management is a plus, but if you have passion and talent to become a successful leader, and especially if you have experience leading in other areas, this is also accepted.
  • Experience in working with technical teams using agile principles.
  • Take ownership, initiate improvements, and result oriented.
  • Honest, outcome-focused, and open-minded.
  • Act as a role model with high integrity to company values and goals.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Speak and write English fluently.
