As a senior Project Manager, you have extensive understanding of Hybrid- and agile development processes and your main responsibility will be facilitation of our Inflow, creation of Initiation Request Form/Project Charters in collaboration with our stakeholders ensuring the right foundation for portfolio management decision on starting the right initiatives. 

You will be responsible for development and Continuous Improvement of our Governance model, Project Management Framework, - Tools and – Academy.  As part hereof you will also have the responsibility for driving the UR Community of Practice within project management.  

As a part of continuous learning, we also expect you to drive a program/project and here ensure progress, predictability, visibility, effectivity, quality, and compliance with focus on the end-product. You work closely together with team members from all part of the organization and through this close collaboration you ensure the success of the project.

You will become part of our Project Management Office (UR PMO) team and report to our Head of PMO.

Key partners will be HR, Finance, Global IT, Operation, Marketing, Sales, Service, R&D and affiliations within the Teradyne – Industrial Automation business area, e.g., MiR and Energid, but also external subcontractors and test certification companies.



Your primary tasks include:

•    Facilitate the Inflow in tight collaboration with our stakeholders of new initiatives, develop Project Charters as foundation for portfolio prioritization’s, planning, and actual startup of new initiatives. 
•    Create, improve, and anchor the UR Governance model, project management framework and thereto attached tools and processes. 
•    Manage the UR Project management academy and thereto connected Community of Practice and PMO Website. 
•    Project execution as accountable project manager, showing the model and tools defined is working in daily life. “Walk the process yourself” 

What does it take to become our new colleague?

We are looking for a candidate with a proven strong methodology and program/project management experience, preferably within large business, IT or operation projects. You are process savvy and passionate about both business, operation and IT development, quality, and different Project/Program management methodologies, e.g., Waterfall, Rolling-wave, Lean Startup, Agile and SAFe methods.

Your professional integrity, courage and passion guarantees strong and professional project management, allowing Senior Management to have confidence in the execution, the progress and the results.

Required skills:

•    Have several years of experience and a proven track record from a similar role within program- or project management with a high level of complexity, working with different business areas and demands. 
•    Hold a relevant degree, e.g., in economics, business management or engineering
•    Speak and write English fluently
•    Have a project management certification within SCRUM, PMI, SAFe, Lean Six sigma or similar.
•    Be an experienced user of Excel, Word and project management tools. Experience with Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Microsoft Project Web, Microsoft Teams, and the PMI project model is a plus.
