Working towards our vision gives us endless opportunities to learn, grow, innovate, and solve problems together as we bring our technology to companies of all sizes all over the world.

As our FP&A Manager, you will become a key player in our Financial Planning and Analysis team. The FP&A team is responsible for driving financial and business analytics across Universal Robots, ensuring our management has the right analysis and insights. Our main role is to create relevant, fact-based, proactive, and transparent analytics for recurring and/or critical business decisions.

Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be part of a strong finance team of 19 colleagues. We have built up our team over the last years to meet the ambitions and growth of Universal Robots, and this is a unique opportunity to be part of a future growth story. We are based with our headquarter in Odense, Denmark.

Your focus will be on building databased insights and analysis to support our corporate and commercial strategies to our top management in close collaboration with our strategy team and relevant stakeholders in our organization.

In addition, you will be a center point in our forecasting processes, as well as in our regular management reporting cycle. We believe in empowering people, we hold each other accountable, we collaborate and support each other – and we are constantly working together to be even better, and we need you to contribute to this journey. This is a unique opportunity if you are on your way in your career where we will be able to offer various paths with our high growth business.

To give you an overview of how this affects your role and responsibilities you can look forward to working with:

  • The Universal Robots´ executive team as partner for analysis on mainly commercial aspects
  • The strategy team, where you will team up on providing insights to improve our data-driven corporate and commercial strategies by building, tracking, and analyzing key metrics
  • The FP&A team where you will be a key player in analyzing, improving, and reporting on business performance
  • Delivering business forecasts and plans based on deep data insights
  • Building, improving and standardizing business reporting for Universal Robots management and strategic analysis, to ensure the main efforts are spend on data analysis instead of data gathering
  • Taking a strong part in driving data insight as an enabler for Universal Robots´ continued commercial success
  • Driving improvements to our forecast models, processes, and data models

Your workplace is Odense, Denmark with option for hybrid.

We are driven by honesty and act with integrity - #WhoAreU

We expect you to have a proven track record in the FP&A area in a global business. You know all the FP&A disciplines and have also been part of challenges that included maturing of data modelling, the need for proactiveness and focus on helping drive business outcomes.

  • You have experience in working with standard BI systems, data analysis tools etc.
  • You know how to put together a presentation that position the data and insights and invite for solutions and focus
  • You are very experienced in working with commercial drivers and analytics, and performance management
  • You hold a Masters degree of relevance
  • You are highly motivated by delivering outcome and know that it is crucial to have good analytics finalized and in action, rather than making them 5% more perfect
  • As you have senior experience, we expect you to have a natural focus on knowledge sharing and helping less experienced colleagues grow in their role

As English is our corporate language, you are expected to be fluent in both written and spoken English. On a personal note, you are independent, and still a team player. You are motivated by solving complex tasks and still you are very practical in the way you approach things. You have an outgoing and service minded personality and thrive in a dynamic and international environment.

As us, you enjoy cross-organizational problem solving and are good at presenting your findings in a clear and structured way. Here at Universal Robots, we are very flexible, and we expect you to be the same.
