Your Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our R&D Hardware organization in Odense, Denmark, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of collaborative robots.
Working in cross-functional project teams, you will drive mechanical development from concept through launch, transforming innovative ideas into robust, high-quality products used by customers around the world. You will collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions while continuously improving our products, processes, and engineering practices.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop next-generation robotic products.
- Drive improvements to existing products.
- Develop and enhance engineering workflows, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the test organization to validate designs and ensure product performance and reliability.
- Drive complex mechanical development activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Your Background
We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer with strong technical expertise, a structured approach, and a passion for solving challenging problems. You take ownership, work effectively across functions, and can independently drive tasks from concept to implementation.
We imagine you have:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical product development, preferably within R&D environments.
- Strong knowledge of machine design and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with 3D CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred).
- Hands-on experience with DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and other design-quality methodologies.
- Knowledge of verification, validation, and test development.
- Understanding of tolerance analysis, manufacturing processes.
- Experience working in cross-functional development teams and coordinating technical deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English is required. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
