As a Student Worker in the Engineering Support Team, you will play a vital role in supporting engineers and operations by assisting with technical tasks, documentation, and process improvements. This part-time position is designed to provide hands-on experience in a collaborative, innovative environment, ideal for students pursuing degrees in engineering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with revision updates and releases in Teamcenter and other systems.
  • Create and update 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks.
  • Support supplier reviews and communications.
  • Request new items and perform data analysis to create overviews
  • Facilitate product reviews and manage documentation for innovation projects.
  • Help implement product changes and maintain production drawings.
  • Participate in verification and validation testing of new hardware and product iterations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to solve real-world problems and contribute to ongoing projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive approach to assignments.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes.
