If this talks into your passion and motivation this position could be just for you!

About the role

To ensure that the quality from our suppliers meets UR’s internal targets and control measures we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). In this role you will report to our Supplier Quality & Warehouse Manager and work with highly skilled colleagues facilitating the continuously improvement of supplier’s performance and quality as well as handle defects and production shutdowns.

Maintain and challenge supplier quality standards

Besides establishing procedures and processes, your main responsibility will be to ensure that the components manufactured by our external suppliers live up to our quality standards. Specifically, you will focus on supplier quality within electronics and be in frequent contact with our suppliers.

Main tasks:

  • Secure continuously quality improvement together with suppliers
  • Handling of part rejects (non-conformance reports) and evaluating and processing blocked components together with IQC

A positive outlook and an eye for possibilities

Moreover, while you have an eye for quality in production, especially regarding specifications, we expect you to pay equal attention to the subtleties and pragmatism.
