Logistics Specialist(Robotics,Shanghai)

Opportunity Overview 

  1. Supply Chain/Logistics

 

  • Prepare all the supporting docs for importing and exporting for customs clearance etc. for both UR CN and UR Tech and MIR CN and talk to Customs bureau when necessary
  • Review the invoice and packing list provided from DK HQ and communicate with HQ when there are errors or any areas that need to be modified
  • Monthly review the importing & exporting data
  • Follow up the vendor’s payment process
  • Inventory management: monthly stock reconciliation with the logistics vendor to make sure the consistency between physical record and financial record. Monthly alignment with finance.
  • Responsible for inventory counting
  • Update the data of extended payable in SAFE system after importing per time
  • Deal with the supply chain inquiries from local sales team and distributors in time to make the whole process running smoothly
  • Close cooperation/coordination among sales, sales support, Finance, CSE and service team
  • Providing some supporting documents or information when customers need to export.
  • Assisting to work with DK HQ for confirming the inventory and align the shipping date from DK to China as back up
  • Assisting to work  with the global forwarder to arrange shipping the robots and spare parts by sea and by air for both UR CN and UR Tech and MIR CN and track the arrival in time to meet the sales demand
  • Other adhoc work assigned by the manager

 

  1. Shipment

 

  • Overall manage all the shipments for UR CN, UR Tech and MIR CN for robots and spare parts
  • Release the shipments for Robot, Spare parts in AX
  • Send the pick-up notification letter to the customer and follow up with the customers to get the stamped version back to Finance for invoice
  • Coordinate the customers and logistics vendors for the pick-up
  • Arrange the shipping by the express when the customer needs and inform the customer the express information and solve kinds of potential issues in time during the process
  • Coordinate the physically internal transferring the robots and spare parts between Service hub and warehouse vendor
  • Follow up claim when there is any damage during the transportation.
  • Mailbox – answers emails/follow-up on emails
  • Make/update the guides for the process/procedure and coach the team members be fully following up them
  • Other adhoc work assigned by the manager

 

  1. C4C & C4G

 

  • China for China project (C4C):

 

  1. Assisting to import the raw materials to Shanghai Free Trade Zone’s warehouse under UR DK .
  2. Assisting to arrange the shipment and prepare the docs for exporting them to the two contractor manufacturing factories based in Jiangsu province
  3. Assisting to communicate with the contractor manufacturing factory for ready robots and arrange the logistics vendor to pick up them and prepare the docs to import them into Shanghai Free Trade Zone’s warehouse under UR DK
  4. All AX operations of purchasing, good receive and shipment etc. between UR DK and UR CN
  5. Inventory management and counting
  6. Other adhoc work assigned by the manager

 

  • China for Global project (C4G):

 

  1. Assisting to communicate with the contractor manufacturing factory for ready robots and arrange the logistics vendor to pick up them and prepare the docs to import them into Shanghai Free Trade Zone’s warehouse under UR DK
  2. All AX operations
  3. Assisting to prepare the exported docs from Shanghai Free Trade Zone to other region/country
  4. Close cooperation/coordination among DK HQ, other region/country’s sales support, the contractor manufacturing factories and logistics vendor etc.
  5. Other adhoc work assigned by the manager

 

 

  1. Other Supports

 

  • Arrange the shipment of Demo robot loan to partners/customers
  • Check the Demo robot availability for sales team, marketing team and technical team etc.
  • Close cooperation/coordination among sales, sales support and service hub team for arranging and returning Demo robots
  • Release the shipments for Spare parts to the customers based on the sales order
  • Close cooperation/coordination among sales, sales support, CSE and Finance
  • Check spare parts inventory for sales and remind service team to purchase potential shortage spare parts.
  • Other adhoc work assigned by the manager

All About You

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably majored in logistics or international trade
  • Knowledge on general Logistics practice
  • 3 to 5 years’ working experience in Logistics Management or 3PL Management
  • Preferable worked with or knowledge of MS AX (or other MS ERP systems)
  • Preferable worked within an international company before
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient English reading and writing, speaking is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Adaptation and ability to contribute in a fast based dynamic company
  • Ability to multitask and highly organized.
