Universal Robots is now looking for a new colleague to join us to continue the steep growth rate in Universal Robots.

 

Responsibilities

We sell our products through distributors and certified solutions partners, so you will work in close collaboration with these. Your responsibility is to ensure revenue growth in your territory (Sweden), which you do through engaging with potential customers. Our primary customers are small and medium sized production companies of all kinds.

 

This new role is Sweden based and reports directly to the Sales Leader Market Area Nordics and covers the territory of Sweden. As Channel Development Manager you are responsible for increasing the sales in the channel.

 

Primary tasks in your role will be:

 

  • New business development as well as managing the existing partner network in the territory to increase revenue and grow the business to meet our ambitious growth targets
  • Travel to meet clients, support our partners, carry out demonstrations and attend trade shows; the latter in close cooperation with our marketing team

We are looking for someone with sales and business development experience. You are strong both in working autonomously and in a team. You can structure your own time and efforts with support and assistance from the team in the sales area. Also, you are used to reporting progress using a CRM tool and providing accurate forecasting.

 

Further, we expect you to have:

 

  • A strong sense and understanding of the value proposition to the end users
  • Experience with structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management etc.
  • Advanced business acumen as well as the ability to present the concept of flexible automation to clients, prospects, and education centers
  • Swedish language ability is a requirement

 

Experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products would be an advantage. Full technical training will be provided, and the role is supported by a technical support engineer based in Denmark.

 

Furthermore, experience with indirect sales to distributors is a must.
