As a reliability engineering co-op, you will work with Teradyne’s reliability engineering team implementing their world class reliability program and learn to setup and run reliability tests to evaluate component and system reliability. You will also be working on data archiving and organization to facilitate better reliability analyses.


This co-op is based in the Agoura Hills, CA office and offers hybrid flexibility. The co-op can accommodate full-time or part-time hours. The start date is January 2023.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and organize (front end development) internal repository using Microsoft SharePoint & Power Apps
  • Assemble and troubleshoot test setups to test various electrical and electromechanical assemblies and components
  • Conduct environmental and mechanical stress testing – comprising of temperature, vibration, temperature humidity, bending and other stress tests
  • Compile and analyze testing data using MS Excel, MATLAB or other statistical tools; data visualization of results


Basic Qualifications:


  • College student pursuing an associates or bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or systems engineering
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and programming skills
  • Knowledge of analog and mixed signal circuit design; ability to read schematics
  • Experience with lab instrumentation such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes and impedance analyzers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, with a can-do attitude


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Electrical engineering coursework – circuit theory, analog and mixed signal circuits, linear integrated circuits
  • Statistics coursework – probability distributions, point estimates (mean, median, mode)
  • CAD / CAE Skills, ability to do finite element analysis and modeling in Ansys Mechanical / SolidWorks
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Power apps, Power BI
