- This co-op will be located on-site at our Agoura Hills, CA office
- The duration of the co-op is 6 months from July-Dec 2023
- Teradyne will not be considering candidates for this position that require sponsorship now or in the future.
Working at Teradyne in Agoura Hills, CA, you will design and develop electro-mechanical instrument assemblies and system platforms used by the world’s largest electronics manufactures. The Mechanical Engineering Co-op will contribute to a multi-site, multifunctional engineering design and product development team. In this co-op you will:
- Work with Hardware and System Engineers developing prototypes and products
- Design custom electro-mechanical test fixtures
- Develop products within cross functional Engineering and Operations teams
- Conceptualize, select and defend technical solutions to complex and highly integrated mechanical engineering problems
- Execute machine and equipment design projects at the detail part and manufacturing release level for both systems and components
- Document and execute design verification test plans
- Devise simple automation and mechanism designs using slides, motors, and controls
Job Requirements
- Working towards a BSME
- Demonstrated electro-mechanical design/analysis skills
- System and electronics packaging and fabrication knowledge is helpful, including:
- PCB assembly, machining, molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.
- Excellent communication, team work, and leadership skills required

Working towards a Bachelor Science in Mechanical Engineering
