Responsibilities

•    Responsible for tasks associated with Sales or Marketing process assigned by manager or mentor/coach.
•    Assist in selling and positioning Teradyne products and services to DoD customers and their associated business partners as a member of the USAF-Boeing-Army MNC team.
•    Manage support activities associated with the assigned accounts.
•    Participate in executing and managing competitive sales process as a team member.
•    Communicate and integrate account strategy with support, program management and divisional organizations.
•    Prospect & qualify new business opportunities for existing and newly acquired products.
•    Identify & qualify customer needs and requirements.
•    Supply technical data and business-related information to existing and prospective customers.
•    Provide sales quotations for products and services.
•    Coordinate and host customers meetings at Teradyne sites and customers sites.
•    Participate in the Business Development Focus Teams to address customer needs and business objectives.
•    Participate in bookings and negotiating contracts (purchase orders).
•    Support key marketing/sales activities including trade shows, conferences and other DoD events.
•    May or may not have quota responsibility.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

•    Ability to work in a team setting.  
•    Must be self-directed, confident, and able to work with supervision upon receiving detailed instructions & assignments
•    Ability to understand and implement corporate processes.
•    Ability to maintain existing and establish new strong/solid relationships with customers.
•    Ability to define and overcome obstacles or escalate to management in order to meet project deadlines.
•    Must have basic business acumen. 
•    Must have interpersonal skills that can be grown/enhanced within Teradyne working environment
•    Must be self-starter that can accept responsibility for projects and their completion.
•    Ability to develop and maintain internal corporate and external customer relationships.
•    Must be a USA citizen.
•    Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
•    Ability to travel domestically on short notice, between 25-50% of traveling.

Education

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Science, or related military discipline from an accredited college or university is required.  
•    MBA, additional business or technical degrees are preferred.
•    Some level of experience working within the DoD environments is preferred. 
•    4-6 year experience working within the DoD environments is required.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is 100% remote, so Teradyne would consider candidates anywhere within US.
