Hardware Engineer ( MiR Support)

Organization & Role

The Teradyne Hardware Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware Engineer to focus on the development of hardware systems for products within the  division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Design Engineers in verification and validation of circuit designs.
• Develop standards and guidelines to ensure quality and performance.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and perform design verification plan based on schematics layout files.  
• Perform manual design verification on PCBs using test equipment like Oscilloscope, Signal analyzer, DMM, etc.
• Review parts with AVL issues (out of stock, obsolete) and provide resolutions, including verification on current designs. 
   

Basic Education, Qualifications & Skills

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Experience or have a working knowledge in schematic and PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro, Mentor or any other tools is a plus
• Technical individual that can quickly provide electrical insight during design reviews
• Knowledgeable in Analog designs and DC to DC converters.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Has a high sense of urgency and analytical skills
• Can work with less to no Supervision
• Able to join once a weeknight Staff Meeting to collaborate with offshore teams
