The Messaging and Collaboration track responsible for maintaining, enhancing and performing migrations to and from the O365 cloud, IBM WebSphere and Security Access Manager solutions has a position available for a senior Administrator with drive and passion. The successful candidate will have experience in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts among client managers and system users and other IT professionals. The senior admin works with multiple parties including architects, business users and development resources to capture new requirements, troubleshoot and fix production issues, provide support and propose and implement solutions.   

 

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and deliver technical support and solutions in an Office 365 environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain effective and consistent communication within the team, with peers, the leadership team and the peers in other IT groups
  • Proactively raise issues to Technical and Group Leads when necessary
  • Write quality technical documentation to describe resolution actions and best practices.
  • Document operational procedures and perform Production turnovers.
  • Recommend products, innovations and process changes to improve quality of service delivery and management.
  • Self-driven and motivated to stay abreast of current technology trends
  • Learn and integrate with other non-Microsoft on premise and cloud technologies

 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Outlook/Exchange, SharePoint, Windows and/or Active Directory support experience,
  • 2+ years of .Net, application development or VB/PowerShell scripting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of O365, Exchange and SharePoint application architecture
  • Working knowledge of LDAP, SSO and Identity management solutions
  • Sound analytical skills and problem solving skills to manage multiple technical challenges simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams
  • Ability to be on call and to perform support or production turnovers on weekends.
