Basic Duties and Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

 

  • Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters
  • Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
  • Troubleshoot process related issues and fine tune processes to eliminate process-induced defects
  • Initiate, lead, and drive activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
  • Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products
  • Review processing methods and provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
  • Develop and maintain process documentation up-to-date and in accordance with ECOs
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space and tools requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Estimate and analyze production time, staffing requirements, and related cost to provide information for management decisions
  • Initiate, review and approve ECNs for product's reliability, quality, and improvement
  • Perform final quality check to product before shipping to customer
  • He shall closely work with Electro-mechanical assemblers and Test technicians for assembly quality and FCT (Final Configuration and Test).
  • Develop and maintain documentation and digitization of processes used in assembly and test
  • May support new product transfers
  • Remote support to other OPS site/regions

 

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

 

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent courses.
  • Must have high analytical skills and must high sense of urgency.
  • Must be capable of leading or interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
  • Must have solid software and hardware troubleshooting skills (e.g., C++, Visual Basic).
  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer operation, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, etc), and familiarity with internet-based program navigation, with ability to generate and interpret computer data.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated or subject to weekly testing for onsite access.
