Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise, direct and review work plan for Material Handlers and daily activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational warehouse activities
  • Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel
  • Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
  • Monitor overall warehouse utilities and material usage
  • Managing and evaluating reported warehouse productivity.
  • Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, procedures, and priorities of the organization
  • Prepare and present business review reports
  • Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
  • Assist with budget preparation and administration
  • Discover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage programs.

 

Basic Qualifications, Education, Skills Required:

 

  • Degree in supply chain, business, management, logistics, Industrial engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to work on weekends/holiday
