This role is primarily responsible for managing highly technical Window infrastructure including planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, monitoring and support of Windows servers globally.primarily responsible for managing highly technical Window infrastructure including planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, monitoring and support of Windows servers globally.

Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure long term Windows System operation by planning Hardware, Software and other upgrades. Measure performance and perform tuning. Review, enhance and update documentation, run books, design diagrams, Disaster Recovery procedures, monitoring and reporting reports etc.
• Interface with Engineering groups to create, install, configure and enhance Windows Operating System to support design tools and trouble shoot complicated performance issues.
• Create and maintain images for corporate servers, desktops, laptops and testers.

Basic Education/ Skills/ Experience Required: 

• Bachelor of Science in Computers or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge in several of the following is required: Windows Server, MS Azure, VMware, Citrix, Active Directory, DFSR, DNS, WINS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows Clustering, Dell Servers, HP Servers, Certificate Management, ACLs and File Access Security, Terminal Server, Remote Console Management, Monitoring Tools, Patch Management, Server Imaging, etc.
• Strong knowledge and ability to troubleshoot complicated issues in a global distributed technical environment. Deep understanding of performance issues related to processor, IO, Memory, network, LAN, WAN, Optimization, latency, and tools
• Knowledge of VMS operating system is a plus
• Willing to work in a graveyard/night shift.
