Quality Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities  

  • As Customer Quality Engineer and voice of customer to ensure product comply to Teradyne quality expectation and standard as well as perfect installation of product at customer site.
  • As point of contact for field customer quality and installation issue feedback.
  • Track status of system installation at customer site and liaise with field installation team to address installation and quality issues and opportunity for improvement.
  • Manage installation issue by conducting weekly quality meeting, drive root cause analysis and corrective action with EMS partner, Field Service, Operations, PSG and engineering team as where relevant.
  • To identify critical manufacturing and quality issues and drive the EMS partner for process compliances as well as improvement. 
  • Support process or quality related issues at EMS partner
  • Support periodical manufacturing process audit.


Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

  • Engineering or relevant degree holder with minimum 5 years as process engineer or quality engineer in manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interface/communicate effectively in technical aspect to drive resolution for quality incident and improvement.
  • Strong leadership with analytical and problem-solving skills, organized, proactiveness and high sense of urgency.
  • Statistical analytical capabilities is a must.
  • Experience in complex Electro-Mechanical assembly with mechanical and electrical knowledge would be strong advantage.
  • Flexible to work at multiple time zones and able to travel as needed.
