Accounting and Administration Manager

This position is located in Geneva - Switzerland under Lemsys entity. Lemsys is a subsidiary of Teradyne with a workforce of about 25 employees.

Reporting Structure / Purpose of Position

This position will serve as a replacement for the Accountant, who will be in pre-retirement as of April 30th, 2023 and is part of the reorganization of the Finance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Accounting and Administration Manager is responsible for maintaining Lemsys accounting books (AP, AR and GL). She/He actively participates in Quarterly and Annual closing procedures. The accountant also oversees Payroll and Employee Administration processes.

This includes :

• GL Accounting,
• AP and AR Accounting,
• Inventory and Fixed Assets Accounting,
• Payroll and Employee Administration,
• Cash and Bank Accounts Management
• Tax and VAT Fillings and Accounting
• Quarterly and Annual Closing and Reporting,
• Relationship with External Auditors,
• Assists Management team in preparing budget,

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Education

• Accounting Qualification
• At least 5-year experience in Accounting for Swiss Based Company preferably in Manufacturing Sector
• Fluent in French or English with good level in the other.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good Practice of Accounting Software’s (Knowledge of Abacus is a plus)
• Familiar with ERP.
• Rigorous with strong attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills
• Sense of discretion
