Assembler Job Responsibilities:


  • Produces Electro/Mechanical Kits by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with electrical tools.
  • Uses hand tools or electrical tools to assemble parts.
  • Uses standard and some non-standard soldering tools
  • Conducts quality control and visual inspection checks.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Communicates mechanical defects to Local Suppliers/Manufacturers to have them fixed according to the product specifications.
  • Assembles parts by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed assemblies.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor and Engineer to obtain additional resources (if required).
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment (including equipment and tools) by complying with procedures, trainings, and regulations.
  • Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, tracking orders, and verifying receipt of material and supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production databases and quality forms.

  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, assemble parts/components or color-coded wiring
  • Work under pressure to accomplish product delivery deadlines


Education & Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED is required. Associated Electronics or Electromechanical degree is desired.
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Teamwork oriented attitude.
  • Computer package skills (Microsoft Office)
  • English writing and reading (A2) is required. English Speaking is desired
