Organization & Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, technically agile, customer-focused software engineer to join the Teradyne Software Release Engineering team! Teradyne develops best in class automated test software and it is the responsibility of Release Engineering to ensure that every aspect of the build, test, and release process delivers results day in and day out. We place an emphasis on automation every step of the way as we strive to migrate our massive, complex flagship product toward realizing a true continuous integration / continuous delivery DevOps model. Much remains to be accomplished and we need you on our team to help make the vision a reality!

  • We operate under the principles of Agile Scrum.  Working closely with SW development teams, this full-time role will involve:
  • Assisting internal customers on essential tools used in SW development.
  • Providing help troubleshooting systems (Windows & Linux) related issues working closely with IT.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines automation.
  • Contributing to Build and Test automation optimization.
  • Participating in various tools, data, and Build infrastructure migration projects.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Working knowledge of basic Source Control Management concept.
  • Working knowledge of basic Windows and Linux administration.
  • Experience with Git and Jira
  • Strong scripting experience (Python preferred, Perl, PowerShell).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong desire to automate work rather than manual intervention.
  • Strong customer service skills with previous HelpDesk experience.
  • Nice to have: 
  • Experiences in Elastic Stack, GitHub, Artifactory, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Containers
  • Cloud experience (AWS/Azure or others)
  • Software Build & Release Experience
