Business Development Manager (US Region) – Device Interface Solution   ( Position in US, can be remote, prefer West Coast, but will consider other areas )

 

 

Summary:

 


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for our core Device Interface Solution (DIS) business in US and Europe Region. 
This position requires close interaction with our regional customer and account teams, marketing analysts, product managers and 
other business partners around the world. Duties include driving bookings and revenue to meet business goals and performance.  
The business development manager will lead the regional teams in competitive selling strategy, managing pre-sales and key design in 
activities to expand DIS business into new and existing accounts.  This role is also responsible for developing customer dependency 
for our solution by deployment and adoption of DIS value added tools.  


Duties and Responsibilities:


Sales Channel Development. 

 

  • Engage in face-to-face meetings, trainings and development of sales channels to ensure success in all activities. Integrate with sales channels to develop winning account and selling strategies
  • Pre-sales engagement, Competitive Selling Strategy development and execution with account teams for new accounts and new segments in existing accounts.
  • Revenue growth, business expansion execution Pricing. 
  • Implement consistent pricing and discount controls
  • Responsible for competitive price setting in new accounts and new business engagement to maximize profit margins through deep understanding of product value proposition, competitive situation and customer’s alternatives.

 

 

Account Development.


 

  • Develop long term strategies to sustain or grow in existing accounts (Develop new, mutually beneficial customer relationships to strengthen the business).
  • Develop understanding of buyer personas, competitive landscape and strategies to ensure best outcome of winning new businesses.

 

 

New Product Verification and Deployment.  

 

 

  • Working closely with innovation lab for new product introduction to verify and quantify customer value proposition through customer engagement and trials till full deployment/customer’s acceptance.  
  • Provide US and Europe region market intelligence to facilitate goal-setting process, service deliverables and product roadmaps development.Identify opportunities for product line growth. Design initiatives to capitalize on them

Skills and Requirements:

 

 

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a field of sales, marketing or technical pre-sales in Semiconductor Test industry. 
  • Technical knowledge in PCB design, layout and manufacturing process is a plus. 
  • Strong quantitative skills. Ability to discern meaning from complex business models.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Point.
  • Intermediate MS Excel.
  • A Problem Solver with a positive attitude. 
  • This integration with global functions are necessary in this role, it will require regular night-time conference calls and 20 to 30% travel within US and Europe region for successful execution.

 

 

Education:


Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with MBA is a plus.
