Field Application Manager

Organization & Role
The TAC Operation Manager will oversee the SMT/ReFlow & Repair, Quality , Inventory department operations including scheduling, quality, on time delivery, inspection, inventory and testing activities.
  • Schedule SMT/Reflow and repair production and monitor efficiency to ensure production dates can meet customer’s plan.
  • Review repair cycle time to improve overall skillset and efficiency.
  • Review and recommend staffing levels and training.
  • Work with the field team, supply chain and engineering team members to define and implement equipment and resource requirements.
  • Optimize setup time and programs to improve overall equipment efficiency.
  • Review production and operating reports and resolve problems to prevent operational delays.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in the Surface Mount Department & MLO attachment.
  • Manage department resources and budgets.
  • Manage inventory system and also align with finance asset management process.
  • Ability to mentor, coach team performance to achieve objectives.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
  • The successful candidate requires a minimum of 7 years work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (SMT/Re-Flow operation and/or management).
  • Proven Leader; demonstrated ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Surface Mount Technology and MLO attached processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (Chinese + English)
College diploma in electrical or electronics field preferred.
