The Business Development Manager (Asia Region) for Production Support Services will be focusing on supporting our core maintenance and production software support business in Asia (including South Asia, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan). This position requires close interaction with our regional account teams, marketing analysts, product managers and other business partners around the world. Duties include driving bookings and revenue to meet business goals and performance.  The business development manager will lead the regional teams in creating sales collateral and proposals for major contract negotiations and service delivery to support the core maintenance service support business.  This role is also responsible for managing pre-sales and key design in activities to deployment and adoption of production software solution at identified key accounts. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with regional teams in Asia and leading the major contract negotiations to ensure maximization of contract values and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop understanding of buyer personas and determine marketing messages and strategies to ensure best outcome of contract negotiations.
  • Provide Asia market intelligence to facilitate goal-setting process, contract policies and product roadmaps development.
  • Identify opportunities for product line growth. Design initiatives to capitalize on them.
  • Engage in face-to-face meetings and trainings as needed to ensure success in all activities.
  • Leading pre-sales and design in activities for production software support business.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a field relevant to the skills required below.
  • Strong quantitative skills. Ability to discern meaning from complex business As.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Point.
  • Intermediate MS Excel.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred, but not a must.
  • A Problem Solver with a positive attitude.
  • As integration with global functions are necessary in this role, it will require regular night-time conference calls and 15-20% travel within Asia for successful execution.
  • Must reside in Asia preferably in Taiwan, Singapore or Malaysia.
  • English fluency required.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is preferred but not a must.
