Sales Engineer 

Location Mid-Eastern USA  Remote - Up to 50% Travel

Candidate must be a US citizen and can live anywhere within the USA.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Selling and positioning Teradyne products and services to Warner Robins AFB and Redstone Arsenal and their associated business partners as a member of the USAF-Boeing-Army MNC team.
  • Maintaining existing and establishing new strong/solid relationships with customers.
  • Managing support activities associated with the assigned accounts.
  • Executing and managing competitive sales process as a team member.
  • Creating and implementing individual sales strategies using team strategic tools to gain market share with assigned account.
  • Communicating and integrating account strategy with support, program management and divisional organizations.
  • Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities for existing and newly acquired products.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Supply technical data and business related information to existing and prospective customers.
  • Providing quotations for products and services and may lead the negotiation process.
  • Coordinating and hosting customers meetings at Teradyne sites and customer locations.
  • Develops and implements strategy for gaining market share in accounts or target mil-aero segment.
  • Participate and lead the Internal Customer Focus Teams to address customer needs and business objectives.
  • Participate in negotiating contract content including terms and conditions.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other DoD events,
  • Meeting assigned sales quota and regular sales targets/goals.



Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required



Teradyne - Job Qualifications 



  • At least 7 years of experience in the military related environment.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Clearance. 
  • Have some familiarity with the military and DoD process including planning, requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, training, and life cycle support.
  • Must have some experience in military requirements development and management.
  • Have some knowledge of the different military program offices, their activities, and their interworking.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with military customers (both orally and in writing).
  • Must be able to conduct/analyze military related studies of upgrade and modernization programs, prepare reports and track progress.
  • Position can be located in the southeast region of the country (preferably DC Area)


Education/Training/Experience Required


Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Math, Engineering Science, or related military discipline from an accredited college or university is required.  Additional advanced business or technical degrees preferred. 


This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated or subject to weekly testing for onsite access.


ITAR Restriction: All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.

FOUO Designation:  This position may require access to work under Federal Contracts under the "For Official Use Only" designation, and as such, you may be limited to access such programs if you are not a US citizen or if you have dual citizenship.
