Organization & Role

The Teradyne Hardware Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware Engineer to focus on the development of hardware systems for products within the Semiconductor Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment. 

The work place could be in Milan (Italy), Rousset or Grenoble (France) or Munich (Germany).


  • Project Lead for sophisticated test fixtures (Device Interfaces) from design till delivery
  • Gather project requirements from European customers
  • Assess and estimate PCB Layout projects for schedule, cost, and feasibility
  • Prepare business development strategies for customer accounts and co-work with Sales team to execute
  • Accompany product flow from customized design, manufacturing, assembly, QA and integration
  • Collaborate with Teradyne’s Design Center in China to execute the design requirements you establish with the customer
  • Understand the competitive landscape and propose internal developments to improve Teradyne DIS’s market positioning and technical advantages



Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in CAD design tools for PCB design, preferably Cadence tools, is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Ideally knowledge of Automatic Test Equipment interface board environments and requirements
  • Experience with high frequency RF and mmWave signal delivery is preferred
  • Project management skills to align cost, schedules and organizing resources
  • Self-motivated, customer orientated and good organizational skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft office tools, such as Excel and MS Project
  • Fluent in German and English. French would be a surplus



  • Graduate in Electronics (or similar subject) from either University or Technical school
