Information Security Manager

Organization and Role

 

The Teradyne Information Security Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Security Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will possess a broad set of skills that exemplify their understanding of Information Security principles, Governance, Risk, and Information Technology.

 

Responsiblities:

  • Manage various IS projects and initiatives such as: 
  • Strategic decision making in line with managing risk appropriately
  • Identifying and mitigating security risk
  • Manage security compliance initiatives and liaise with legal on compliance related matters
  • Drive the security auditing process globally across multiple facets of program control
  • Create and implement various security controls as needed
  • Analysis of global security requirements and privacy concerns
  • Oversee projects and deployments with IT to create secure systems
  • Help to define and manage Data Security Roadmap                          
  • Oversee, manage, and track remediation activities
  • Collaborate with internal audit, and insurance teams to ensure the alignment 
  • Work to assure security compliance with international and US security standards

  
Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of combined Cyber Security and Risk Control related experience.  Special interest in information security best practices
  • Concentration in computer science or technology
  • Working experience with security, privacy, and related technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate security and compliance related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
  • Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships across all levels and business groups within a company
  • Ability to escalate issues at the right time/level and ability to bring teams together to resolve issues in a productive manner
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to CMMC and ITAR/CUI regulations, GDPR, CCPA , SOX preferred
  • Experience in the high technology industry preferred
  • Experience working with teams in multiple geographic locations
  • Expert on security principles and technologies
  • Good work ethic and willing to learn in a fast-paced/competitive environment
  • Highly organized, analytical, and reliable
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Confidentiality & controllership mindset
  • Knowledge of IAM, product security, and IP protection a plus
  • Supportive and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
  • Project management experience a plus

 

Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
•    Graduate degree in Information Security or MBA a plus
•    Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, CRISC, PMP or GSE are required
