 We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work closely with the TestCell Engineering Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop parts for implementation in field products.
  • Use SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and FEA simulations
  • Participate in team meetings, and present quantitative and qualitative findings in an organized and professional manner
  • Help drive critical time sensitive projects from root cause analysis through design verification.

Basic Skills, Requirements, Experience and Education:

  • Qualified applicants will be currently enrolled in a BS Degree program with focus on Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Will have completed three years of course work

As a Teradyne Intern you will bring with you:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks part creation, drawings, and large assemblies
  • Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T)
  • Ability to assemble electro-mechanical parts with basic hand tools
  • Understanding of basic programming and electronics.
  • Technical and professional writing experience
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, team oriented, and “hands-on”
  • Must have excellent organization and communication skills to work with cross-functional groups
