ORGANIZATION & ROLE: 
 
Product Manager, SemiTest Business Development and Growth 

Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test systems utilize complex high-speed software and instrumentation to evaluate, modify and classify semiconductor devices for most of the world’s leading chip makers. As we seek to expand our market share beyond 50%, we seek to identify additional emerging and related businesses and opportunities to expand our portfolio.
 
The SemiTest Business Development/Growth Product Manager will work collaboratively with our sales, marketing and engineering/Innovation Labs teams to identify and pursue these opportunities. In this role you will lead the hunt, coordinate the cross-functional team, and deliver the strategy and financial analysis for winning endeavors. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
 
    •    Identify and evaluate new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. 
    •    Provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.  
    •    Drive the organization to implement successful emerging market strategies for our existing semiconductor and related markets.
    •    Ensure that customer commitments and support are delivered to Teradyne standards of quality and customer satisfaction. 
    •    Work collaboratively across Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test Division to propose winning solutions for our customers. 
    •    Establish and maintain a collaborative working environment across product marketing, project management, research and engineering development teams, including production operations and support as necessary. 
 

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced technical or business degree and at least 5 years of product development, sales, and/or marketing experience in a highly dynamic growth environment. These include:
 
    •    Experience in business exploration and evaluation in Technology, Semiconductors, Capital equipment or related industries. 
    •    Skill working and operating globally. 
    •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel as required.

Education:
 
    •    BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Business. 
    •    MBA strongly desirable.
