Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) Leader will provide leadership and strategic global direction to the Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the Global Director of Talent Management, this individual will be responsible for the overall strategy, tools, training, standards, and metrics for Talent Acquisition globally while supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide thought leadership and drive key strategies to source, screen, select, and finalize the hiring of highly qualified individuals for employment
  • Provide global guidance/leadership to recruiters that support the business segment
  • Support Teradyne and its subsidiaries employer branding initiatives and ensures the team has access consistently to promote our brands
  • Strategize with executives, leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and HR Field organization on various talent solutions
  • Develop a campus recruiter strategy and framework which can be globalized and localized
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and agencies to ensure that all services related to Talent Acquisition are meeting the needs of the organization
  • Build and sustain an effective and responsive campus recruitment function that partners with various key internal stakeholders
  • Network and benchmark regularly with industry peers to understand the latest advances in the Talent Acquisition environment.
  • Present recruitment metrics, strategic sourcing plan, and drive actionable areas for improvement
  • Utilize, adhere, and train recruiters on recruitment systems, policies, procedures, tools, and templates to ensure streamlined, effective, and high-quality services are delivered
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and federal regulations and requirements, including but not limited to, OFCCP, EEOC, Federal Selection Guidelines, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition function, offering team resources and recommendations to achieve goals
  • Drive process improvements around systems, tools, and enhanced sourcing capabilities
  • Develop Onboarding strategy to increase new hire engagement and effectiveness
  • Attend or ensure team participation around career fairs, and special events to promote our open positions
  • Ensure the TA function develops, adopts, and adheres to best practices and standard operating procedures

 

Preferred location for this position is North Reading, MA - expected travel minimal.

 

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

 

  • BA and/or 15 years of relevant end-to-end recruitment experience with strategic recruiting leadership experience managing direct reports needed
  • Proven track record of consulting and partnering with leadership
  • Experience recruiting for a broad and deep range of positions using a diverse set of recruitment tools and strategies
  • Experience with SAP SFSF HRIS preferred and experience implementing TA-related tools required
  • Strong data analysis and data visualization skills and experience
  • Exceptional team player with proven experience building strong relationships across the business
  • Solid understanding of US employment laws and regulations
  • Awareness of global employment laws and regulations
  • Exceptional written, verbal communications and presentation skills including the ability to advise and liaise across all levels of the organization
  • Capability to handle challenging issues in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Well-developed and highly effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to objectively coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Excellent MS Office skills (advanced PowerPoint and Excel)
