As the Strategic Account Manager supporting a large customer for Teradyne, this role spans across multiple disciplines – sales, marketing, and engineering – across multiple technologies and product segments – mobile RF including the latest 5G standard, IoT, Artificial Intelligence processors, and Mobile Application Processors – and selling to large semiconductor companies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Influence Teradyne’s product roadmap to align with customers’ future device architecture and test requirements. Manage all activities related to gaining market share and achieving or exceeding sales quota for a region.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing a sales strategy, including business forecasting and booking sales orders.   
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities. 
  • Develop strategic relationships with customers’ key technical and business decision makers to influence product selection.
  • Develop and deliver product differentiation message for the purpose of showing Teradyne’s solutions as the best choice.

 

Basic Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: 

 

  • 7+ years industry experience in Semiconductors or Test & Measurement
  • Strong, proven commitment to teamwork
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable presenting to customers at all levels: engineer to executive
  • Proven ability to drive long sales cycle design-ins
  • Keep informed on competitors, semiconductor industry news and trends, products, services, relevant information about legacy, existing, emerging technologies, and the latest product-line development

 

Education:
 

  •  BSEE/ MSEE or equivalent work experience.  An MBA is a plus.
