Organization & Role

Teradyne, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, sells, and supports automatic test equipment worldwide. The company operates through Semiconductor Test, System Test, Industrial Automation, and Wireless Test segments. The Semiconductor Test segment offers products and services for wafer level and device package testing in automotive, industrial, communications, consumer, computer and electronic game, and other applications.


Field Service Technicians provide basic tester trouble shooting and preventative maintenance on Teradyne platforms. Main responsibilities will be:
•    Perform checkers and calibration runs
•    Must be able to use a digital volt meter, power supplies and frequency analyzer
•    Perform standard preventative maintenance procedures
•    Assist with install and de-install of Teradyne testers
•    Perform basic trouble shooting and repair
•    Assist in preparing proper documentation for all service work performed
•    Travel to local customer to provide onsite support
•    Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
•    Works on assignment that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
•    Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instruction only on new assignments

Basic Qualifications & Skills

•    Must have excellent customer service skills
•    Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
•    Must have good working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
•    Must be a team player and able to work independantly
•    Knowledge of Teradyne tester platforms preferred
•    Must have knowledge of how to use VPN, Zoom, Webex and Teams
•    Experience servicing ATE or large electrical / mechanical systems preferred


•    Engineering Degree Preferred
•    Minimum AS Electronics
