Application Engineering: 

Are you tired of working on the same part everyday?  Do you feel like you are being left behind by technology because your projects don’t involve modern devices?  Do you enjoy being challenged by complex problems?  Do you look forward to learning about new technologies and devices?  

 

Application Engineering at Nextest is what you’ve been missing.  As an Application Engineer at Nextest, you will get to help customers bring modern devices into production.  To help customers write programs to enable characterization of future devices.  To innovate and devise new ways to validate new hardware and features.  Get a glimpse of the future of Memory… Today! 

 

Here are some more fun things you get to do as an Application Engineer: 

Participate in Pre and Post sales Customer support 
Support Marketing and Engineering in defining and validating new products 
Create Technical documentation 
Participate in Training creation and presentation 
Create custom programs to satisfy customer needs. 
 

What do you need to be successful as an Application Engineer? 

Experience in memory test (specification, creation, debugging and correlating test programs) 
Flash Memory and/or DRAM experience 
C programming.  C++ would be a plus. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Works well within a team and as an individual contributor 
Able to travel to domestic and international locations. 
ATE experience would be an advantage. 
 

Here are some other skills that would be valuable: 

UFS, NVMe or other storage protocol experience 
PCIe, Unipro and MIPI experience 
Digital test experience 
Using source control software 
 

Education & Experience:

BSEE / BSECE with a minimum of 10+ years of experience
