Responsibilities:

The HR Field Manager, Korea will be responsible for outstanding customer service and operational excellence delivering Korea HR programs with a focus on efficiency, data, and technology for all Teradyne business groups and subsidiaries (LP, IA group).  This position has no direct report located in Seoul and report to APAC HR Field Manager.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the continuous delivering best practices for service delivery. This position will require your organizational, customer-focused experience to create robust operational processes which are aligned with all businesses across our organizational portfolio.

 

This HR Field Manager, Korea is responsible for the following:

  • Adopt on of automated tools and resources to best support employees and managers.
  • Local support and rollout of new and annual HR programs and policies such as talent management, compensation, and workforce planning (in conjunction with HRBPs and COEs).
  • Strong country intimacy for handling specific issues such as: employee engagement, compliance, employee relations, employee life-cycle management and particularly in recent covid-19 pandemic to actively participate in regional Emergency Response Team with local management team to ensure company business and customer service will continue with plan and post covid-19 pandemic hybrid workforce plan.
  • Recruiting and Sourcing execution and delivery across all businesses.
  • Support for all HR related questions for employees and managers.
  • Provide country benefit design and administration oversight.
  • Coach & support if needed to country employee welfare committee to organize employee welfare activities.
  • Execution and ownership of transactional processes with a focus on standardization, quality, and efficiency.
  • Seamless service delivery to business, colleagues and managers through building and managing relationships with Business Leaders, COE’s (Talent Management, Global Compensation, HR Operations), Strategic HR Business Partners, Payroll and Finance.
  • Coaching and developing local managers that collaborates with internal teams and cross-functional business partners to prioritize our employees.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, an excellent influencer as well as a results-driven team player.
  • Track record of successfully juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and shift direction when priorities change.
  • Expected to travel within country as business required.
  • Relevant experience in HR positions in a multinational company.
