Organization & Role

The Teradyne Korea Sales team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Sales professional who will help develop the strategic direction for the combined sales, application and service team, achieve bookings targets for product and services, win all major strategic design-ins, increase our market share and margins and improve the productivity and cost efficiency across the customer team.



Responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy, including business forecasting and booking sales orders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix-reporting field organization of sales, application and service teams to achieve customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed business targets and win assigned strategic design-ins.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, understand customer requirements (both business and technical), and communicate clearly with the internal stakeholders including sales, support, marketing and engineering.
  • Ability to manage customer objections and provide creative solutions to overcome these challenges.
  • Effectively communicate demonstrations, presentations, or any other customer engagement vehicles to promote Teradyne's key product capabilities and demonstrate easy-to-understand competitive differentiation.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
  • Collaborate with technical team and management to create and implement successful sales strategies aligned to company product-offering differentiations for share gain.
  • Establish the required credibility and strategic relationships with various levels of customer organization and within the company.


Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of working experience in Sales or account management in semiconductor industry.
  • Proven successful track record of achieving and exceeding business goals.
  • Strong, proven commitment to teamwork and “can-do” spirit.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and native language.
  • Excellent analytic, judgment, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to customers and company at all levels: engineer to executive.
  • Proven ability to drive long sales cycle design-ins.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationships-building skills.
  • Adaptable to changes and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage conflict.
  • Clear understanding of complex sales situations and ability to navigate situations where multiple parties might have misaligned interests.
  • Well informed on competitors, semiconductor industry news and trends, products, services, relevant information about legacy, existing, emerging technologies, and the latest product-line development.



BSEE/MSEE preferred, MBA a plus.
